Development of the ET312B
ErosTek dates development of the ET312B to 1999. The device combined two-channel digital stimulation with a display, built-in patterns and link/audio functions in a way that became highly recognizable in its category.
312 LINEAGE
From the ET312 era to the MK-312BT
The 312 story is not a straight manufacturer succession. It is a progression from an original ErosTek product family to later independent projects that preserved and reinterpreted parts of the same operating concept.
A long production life
The ET312B remained in production for more than two decades according to ErosTek. That longevity gave the hardware time to become a technical and user-interface reference point for later builders.
Original production ends
ErosTek announced the discontinuation of the ET312B after component sourcing became increasingly difficult and parts moved toward obsolescence. Pandemic-era manufacturing constraints added further pressure.
Independent 312-inspired projects continue
Community and open projects reused familiar ideas while replacing unavailable electronics with newer components. These devices can be technically inspired by the ET312 family without being original ErosTek products.
MK-312BT adds current connectivity
Current MK-312BT implementations combine the two-channel 312-style concept with features such as Bluetooth and rechargeable battery operation. The product identity is independent, even where the technical heritage is obvious.
